Civic Duty Done!

We voted early this year! Dad waited about 20 minutes when he voted and I waited about 40 minutes. I used my drivers license to vote while dad only used a credit card! No pictures ID for him.

The woman in front of him had three or four voter registration cards. The cards had been mailed to her house. She was figuring some type of fraud was taking place. Who knows! I will just hope the whole process does not turn out to be a bigger mess than the last election.

I'm Getting Bigger!

Sadie and I treated Jodie to a day of shop therapy on Friday! We saved
over $80 dollars after we get back all the rebates. I guess that makes
for a wonderful day.
Jodie came running in this morning with a big smile. "I have something
to wear!"

Jodie is as big as she was at seven months and she is only five months
along so far!

Wish her good luck flying with Sadie in two weeks to Australia and
then again in two weeks returning back to the USA. I think Sadie is
worried her seat will be taken by her little brother.

Saint Joseph Peninsula State Park, Florida

Fall Break 2008

Sadie, Jodie, and I all enjoyed a week on the beach, despite the pint of blood we gave to the mosquitos.

"More Beach Daddy!" Sadie is talking more and more each day. She is currently working out who owns what, with statements like "Daddy's shoes, Mummy's shoes, Sadie's shoes (sounds like Sasie's shoes).

Sadie loved all the sand and swimming with Alley the $2 float.

Another Oil Pan!

Danny & Cyd came down to go camping with us. Well we said we could
only camp on the pavement...we changed our mind. Only a few hundred
feet down the flat smooth gravel road I managed to put a hole in the
oil pan. It was just another $300!

More Pictures to Come...

I hope to post a few more pictures before we leave tomorrow for
Florida.

Here We Go Aunt Liesl! Pictures at Last...

Sadie Loves Trucks! She starts everyday saying "Truck, Mummy's Truck."

Rhoda Harrall on TV! Family Star...

"Come quick!"

Jodie was watching Law & Order on September 23 while I was working on school work. She called me to see Rhoda on the TV. Dad's cousin made it on the local new... While this is not a staring role for a new career; it is a once off family member on TV.

Rhoda sorry to here people are ripping off members of your community however we are excited to see you on TV.

(I have a copy of the video and will send it to you via email if you are interested. I'm not able to post it as I don't have rights to put video from WRCB on the web.)

I keep getting errors when I try to upload the pictures. I will try again later.... Update...it is working...The pictures are on and it very late on a work night....

Shock'em!

Chattanooga's water quality people, the forestry people, and the conservation fisheries guys all teamed up with George Bartnic of the Chattanooga Aquarium for a teacher's day on two Tennessee rivers the Ocoee and the Conasauga. The Project WET workshop offered a fun time to learn actives to be used in the classroom while learning about current research and research techniques.
The workshop is offered twice a year at no cost to teachers. Come join next year's group.

Floating the Hiwassee

Sabbath with church friends! With the summer heat melting most everything and everyone we headed off to Paddies Bridge for a little floating action and a picnic. Good times...

Last Day of Membership! TN Aquarium...

Sadie & I visited the Aquarium on my last day of Summer. Tomorrow Friday (Aug 1 2008) I have to report to school meetings. As it was also our last day of our membership Sadie and I when for a last splash; Sadie likes very much all the touch pools. Leaving me to wounder if the docent's questioning looks of "has your child ever seen water" or "does your child not have a bath at home" are for real.
