Shock'em!
Chattanooga's water quality people, the forestry people, and the conservation fisheries guys all teamed up with George Bartnic of the Chattanooga Aquarium for a teacher's day on two Tennessee rivers the Ocoee and the Conasauga. The Project WET workshop offered a fun time to learn actives to be used in the classroom while learning about current research and research techniques.
The workshop is offered twice a year at no cost to teachers. Come join next year's group.

Last Day of Membership! TN Aquarium...
Sadie & I visited the Aquarium on my last day of Summer. Tomorrow Friday (Aug 1 2008) I have to report to school meetings. As it was also our last day of our membership Sadie and I when for a last splash; Sadie likes very much all the touch pools. Leaving me to wounder if the docent's questioning looks of "has your child ever seen water" or "does your child not have a bath at home" are for real.
