Check'em Apples Out

Just in from the Singleton, at the Crow farm... Mum was stewing up a few apples as she tried to hide.

Sadie very tired after having a fever most of the day. We are hope she is better tomorrow. 

Whaling off Port Macquarie, NSW

This little guy and 1000s of other humpback whales are traveling north off the coast of Australia.

We fallowed three whales for one hour at about 3-4 knots, they where taking it easy with very little action. 

Stinky Nappies!

All the malls and shopping centers have family rooms. Sadie loves the slides and games in the rooms, and Jodie and I celebrate clean places to change stinky nappies. 

"She isn't breaking the law. But you are if you tell her to stop. Breastfeeding in public - their right." 

Awesome woman! 

Jodie and I saw a truly awesome mum! The woman was walking through the mall while pushing a shopping cart loading to the hilt, had one or two kids in toe, and had a child on the boob. We wanted to go back and  congratulate her but it was to late by the time we had processed the whole seen. 

Arrival Day Australia 2008

Mum took the morning off to come get us from the airport, and Dad dropped into see us the minute we arrived home.

Playing in the rain

I love playing in the water puddles from the torrential rain that has kept me inside all day long! This is my first time playing in the rain and I LOVE it!

Uncle Matt Visit!

I love my Uncle Matt and my Mummy. On the ride to the Newcastle airport I chucked a load so Daddy can clean the car and car seat this afternoon.
Matt flew in today to see Sadie and visit for a few days.
He is off to Weipa, Northern Australia for a three week job before returning to his flying job in Brisbane.

A Day in the City

Trains, Ferries, and a Pram...Sadie rolled off the bed with a thud as Jodie and I were preparing for the day in the city. She popped up with a smile and we headed for the train line.
Fifty-eight bucks later we where on our way with an all-you-can-ride pass. It was nice to be back in the city again. We alway enjoy Sydney.
Great Grandpa/ma Lee, Nana Deslie, and Sadie, Jodie, and I all made the trip for some shopping and watching.
We arrived at the Rocks for the weekend markets (Australian made crafts and goodies), China Town, and a view of the city.

Pelicans

Sabbath! Sadie went to feed the pelicans but got distracted playing in the wading pool with Grandma. 

Sunrise Lake Macquarie

We are staying on Lake Macquarie with Mum & David. This morning I was able to send Sadie in to see Grandma and dash out to watch the rising sun. 

Day three and Sadie slept through the night! We put Sadie to sleep at about 6:30 PM and she slept until 5:00 AM with only one rewrap. The trip over has been hard on Sadie and harder on Jodie as Sadie always calls for Mummy. Grampa reading a story and Sadie playing at great grandpa/ma Crow's farm. 

 

Funny girl is showing us all of her tricks. She knows how to point to her eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hair, fingers, and bellybutton. And worth noting, she can run across the floor, roll, land and with her hands and feet in the air look to see if anyone is watching. We are just waiting to see if she will start screaming. 

We have been out to Singleton to see the Crow's at the farm the last two days and today we are off to shop at Tuggarah...

We made the trip. I'm not sure we are ready to make the return trip in a few weeks. But....

The grandparents and great grandparents came to see Sadie and she warmed to them quickly. Jodie's parents worked their own magic on her using play and food to break the ice. Sadie is in for a fun trip.

We could not hold our selves off shopping one day. We arrived and had to find a grocery. Jodie got Sadie and herself some auzzy tucker. Starting slow we only got Vitawheats and Arrowroot biscuits.  

The Lee had us over for tea and as alway it was wonderful. Manna and Pa Lee love to feed themselves and others. Thanks....
